New York-based Ami Goldwasser is an award-winning and accomplished event
producer and integrated marketing professional. She is known for her attention
to detail and for being exceptionally organized. Peek into her closet and you’ll
find rows of shoeboxes with Polaroids of their contents attached – one of Ami’s
trademarks.
In her fifteen+ years of experience, Ami has worked on numerous events including
the Live Your Best Life Tour for O, The Oprah Magazine, the Verizon Wireless
Grammy Party with Justin Timberlake, the Tribeca Film Festival, Us Weekly’s Hot
Hollywood parties, Cosmopolitan’s Fun Fearless Female Awards, the UNICEF
Snowflake Gala, the Kevin Liles Make It Happen Book Tour, Elle Magazine's 21st
Birthday, the Ahmet Ertegun Memorial Celebration and Prevention’s R3 Health &
Wellness Summit which won the 2014 Best New Event Programming at the MIN
Awards. She has worked with A-list celebrities, recording artists, political
figures, and media giants.
One of the keys to her success is that she has a keen understanding of the client
side of the business, having held positions at several leading media and
entertainment companies including Wenner Media, The Hearst Corporation, and
Sony Pictures.
As Integrated Marketing Director at Wenner Media, Ami conceived and executed
marketing programs for top brands advertising in Rolling Stone, Us Weekly, and
Men’s Journal magazines. Her project for Showtime’s Dexter won the Min
Integrated Marketing Award in 2009 for Best Advertorial. She also launched
several signature events including Us Weekly’s 25 Most Stylish New Yorkers and
the Rolling Stone X-Game Party. As Event Marketing Director for The Hearst
Corporation, Ami produced hundreds of magazine launches and parties,
executive meetings and conferences, and charity events.
In her continuous efforts to broaden her experiences and gain new ideas, Ami
lived on a kibbutz in Israel. The cows were not impressed that she worked with
Oprah.
